Great Manchester 150 Public Sprint
Saturday 15th May. 10:00 – 18:00. Deansgate, Manchester.
Entry Fee: £5
For runners of all abilities. Minimum age: 11 years.
Places are strictly limited so you’ll need to be quick to secure your place.
All runners will receive an invitation to our Introduction to Sprinting workshops in Manchester, action photo, race certificate, and a unique photo-finish photo. These will be available to download from this website post event.
For anyone who would like to take part and experience what it is like to run on the Great CityGames track. Could you be the next Usain Bolt? Or perhaps you think you’re the fastest player in your football team? Why not challenge your team mates to find out once and for all.
Don’t worry if you have no experience of sprinting, we will be hosting a series of Introduction to Sprinting workshop in Manchester.
Runners must be 11 years and above to compete in the Great Manchester 150
Public Sprint Races will take place in three sessions
- Session 2 – 11:15 to 14:15
(races start at 12:45)
- Session 3 – 13:15 to 16:15
(races start at 14:45)
- Session 4 – 15:00 to 18:00
(races start at 16:30)
Families, friends, or colleagues wishing to run together MUST ensure they choose same session (up to 4 people can run together).
Follow these simple steps to enter the Public Sprint:
Complete the online entry form and select Session 2, Session 3 or Session 4 within which to run.
NOTE – If you wish to run with family, friends, colleagues, etc you must ensure that you all enter into the same Session. You must also enter their names in the space provided on the entry form
Select one of the 4 FREE Introduction to Sprinting Workshop if you wish attend. (All four Sessions are identical).
After entries have closed you will receive an email with event details including a specific registration time, warm up time and a 30 minute wave in which you 150 race will take place within your select Session time.
